Water as a character isn't explored as much as I wanted but its still pretty cool. Mute guy spends a week at a cabin by a lake and attracts a siren out of the water.

Also makes friends with a guy who's out to kill the water monster that took his. The movie is a not-great horror flick, but if it discourages one future groom from having a final ill-advised night of debauchery, it will have served a purpose. The young man in question is Jonah (Chase Williamson), who is dragged out for a premarriage night on the town by some friends.
REVIEW: The mythology of the siren is an interesting one and could make for a terrific film. I'm not sure when or if we will ever see one. I like the movie, and would have loved the movie if this key scene wasn't ripped out of it. Too bad for Andrew, that his only feature got mangled by Lionsgate, and there.
