There are movies that eternally suck to the point of major Suckitude,and then there is this complete celluloid sack of human feces from director/co-writer Adam Marino(BENEATH THE LEAVES) has a group of completely unlikable twentysomethings. A genius mix of thriller and a bit of a horror, Ringu will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Beautifully shot, even the age of this movie won't stop you from enjoying the heck out of it.
The Ring is one of the best scary movies to come out this decade. I think this movie is up there with the Exorcist. The US version is very well done so scary about the movie is that the whole time you don't know what the ring is. You are always trying to figure it out.
