SMALL TOWN HERO is a mockumentary-styled dark comedy, set in an idyllic. Small Town Hero is a dark and comical drama set in an idyllic rural town in England. It follows the story of 'Pep' who becomes a local hero after taking the law into his own hands to prevent a crime. So with Little Town Hero it's no great surprise to see director Masao Taya and the small team at his disposal actively attempt to produce something that's distinct enough Little Town Hero is technically an RPG, but not in the contemporary ways we've come to expect from this increasingly muddied genre. Little Town Hero will occasionally hurt your brain, but the payoff is worth the pain. My reactions to triumphing over bosses ranged from enthusiastic fist pumps to screeching, stomping, long-winded celebrations of victory.
