The movie opens with a really shocking death, but after that, there's not a ton of blood. Movies It Follows is a unique treat for horror fans looking for something new, fresh and terrifying. While getting stuck in minimalism at times, there's something to be said about turning geriatric walking into pure, unflinching terror - of the mind, that is. It Follows does drag a little and the characters are a little uninteresting, but the story is strong and there is always a constant foreboding that stays with you even I enjoyed this movie very much and all the little nods to creepy horror movies of the seventies and eighties.
