It begins with a very moving courtroom scene, which is one of the best courtroom scenes I have ever come across. We are introduced to our main character Kevin Lomax, played by Keanu Reeves. Taken under the wing of the firm's mercurial, charismatic and forebodingly named founder, John. A great actor knows what kind of film he's in and modulates his character accordingly. I had no idea what the movie was about when i first watched it.
It had keanu reeves, charlize theron and al pacino so i was intrigued. He was so charismatic but evil. Charlize is one of the best. I felt her fear and paranoia and it was unsettling.
