Everything Guardians of the Galaxy gets right with its mix of action and comedy, Hercules botches. Often dumb as a box of rocks, but still likable and fun, "Hercules" is an entertaining frenzy of battle action and full-on comedy. The omens weren't looking good for Brett Ratner's "Hercules." For one thing, it wasn't screened for critics until hours before it opened.

Isn't one new movie about a muscle-bound demigod enough? Basically, if the phrase Brett Ratner's Hercules starring The Rock sounds like a fun movie to you, then you'll get your money's worth from the film. The first moments of Hercules will have more than just a few moviegoers worried that they're in for an exceptionally campy and goofy take on Hercules. The mythical Greek strongman gets a refreshingly human spin in Brett It's a grandly staged, solidly entertaining, old-fashioned adventure movie that does something no other. Like the two movies that came after Hercules, I love pretty much every song in this movie. Hope you all enjoyed the review.
