Gerald's Game is a wonderful entry in the catalog of Stephen King adaptations. [Full review in Spanish]. Although the movie takes some unexpected turns and I still can't get my head around where they were going with that ending I would definitely recommend Gerald's Game. Carla Gugino giving an absolutely wonderful.

Chris Stuckmann reviews Gerald's Game, starring Carla Gugino, Bruce Greenwood, Henry Thomas. Gerald's Game is a tight thriller with a strong psychological core. Other performances, including those of Bruce Greenwood, Henry Thomas , and a very expressive dog, are first-rate as well.

Gerald's Game

Still, there are moments that are hard to watch for any but horror fans. GERALD'S GAME is best if you know nothing about it. If you plan to read it, skip this review. It is also the only King novel that I'm sure will never see film. And I kind of like that about it. Stephen King took a huge chance with GERALD'S GAME.

Trailer Gerald's Game

First off, this is a three-hundred-plus page novel about a woman handcuffed to a bed. With Carla Gugino, Bruce Greenwood, Chiara Aurelia, Carel Struycken. A couple tries to spice up their marriage in a remote lake house.

After the husband dies unexpectedly, the wife is left handcuffed to their bed frame and must fight to survive and break free. The film stars Carla Gugino and Bruce Greenwood as a married couple who arrive at an isolated house for a holiday. The story is about a woman whose husband dies of a heart attack while she is handcuffed to a bed, and, following the subsequent realization that she is trapped with little hope of rescue, begins to let the voices inside her head take over. Gerald's Game is a malignant escape room movie, a sort of LucasArts point-and-click scenario where every tool at Jessie's disposal must to be used to ensure her survival, and not necessarily.
