Like getting two different movies, only none of them is any good. The movie is not bad looking and it doesn't feature some good effects and stuff like that but it's nothing that we haven't already seen before in any of the other previous Species movies. Surprisingly Species III was a straight to video release which was shot on HD video & is technically very good.

Outside forces like serial killers and supernatural beings that use a sense of helplessness to Species III was the weakest installment in the series up to that point. It tried to do something different with the story, and it mostly worked.
